Selected handscratched and treated silver gelatin ferritic steel plates made/emulsified and hand printed by author in the darkroom (06/24). This steel series are 26 images in total (27,5 X 22 CMs).

The edit was specifically chosen to suit the metaphoric characteristics of these steel plates being almost like mirrors, matte blanks, like some of the featureless faces or bodies they sometimes show, but scratched, cold, raw, distant, unreachable, metallic, sometimes abstract and potentially sharp and cutting - image becoming the wintered form, and vice versa.
